Pipeline Identification Tape
At Custom Tape LTD we have a comprehensive selection of pipe marking and identification tapes, all of which are manufactured to BS4800 & BS1710 standards with the recommended colour schemes and construction.
All of our pipe identification tape is suitable for internal / indoor use on pipes, drain valves, ducting and flange joints.
Product Specification
- Manufactured to BS4800 & BS1710.
- Protected by a clear polypropylene laminate.
- Manufactured to BS3887 and Defstan 75.7/1.
- Various texts held in stock.
- New texts subject to a one-off origination charge.
- Any text or colour made to order.
- Plain coloured tapes printed to the British standard colours are available.
- Rolls supplied up to 33m long.
- Available widths: 50mm, 75mm, 100mm or 150mm.
- Self adhesive vinyl tape overprinted with identification text or symbol denote the content or flow direction within a pipe securely by wrapping around the pipe at regular intervals and indicate contents with wording and colour.

Production Process
See our steps to order your custom printed tape
1. Order Received
When we receive your enquiry our quotation is sent within 1 working day.
2. Artwork
Our highly skilled designers produce an artwork proof within 24 hours of receipt.
3. Approval
Once your artwork has been approved we will then raise your order on to our systems.
4. Plates
Once your order has been raised we will then produce your printing plates.
5. Production
With all your paperwork and plates produced your order is ready for production.
6. Quality Control
Once print production is complete all rolls are checked for quality reassurance.
7. packaging
Your rolls are all carefully packaged and wrapped ready for collection by our courier.
8. delivery
Your printed tape order is then collected by our next day courier (UK-mainland only).
